The Samboja bowl is hand-decorated pottery from Bolesławiec with a softly waved form. The low, wide dish shimmers in deep cobalt navy, densely scattered with the classic peacock's eye — white circles with a navy dot at their centre. The pattern covers the piece entirely, inside and out, without any additional border, and the wavy rim is picked out with a narrow white band. Every piece is decorated by hand, so slight differences in the arrangement of the eyes are perfectly natural.
It is the ideal breakfast bowl — muesli with yoghurt, porridge or fresh fruit look especially appetising in it. It works just as well for desserts, salads, dips and nibbles served to guests. Light, at a mere 0.35 kg, it sits comfortably in the hand, and the cobalt colourway pairs effortlessly with other Bolesławiec patterns — a single bowl will liven up the table, while several together make a coordinated set.
