Pattern, 22 cm, Navy and Cream, 2.5 kg — Peacock eye with floral border

A lidded pot in Bolesławiec pottery is a classic you will recognise at first glance. The full, rounded body with two small handles is crowned by a domed lid with a decorative knob and a notch for the ladle handle. The whole piece is decorated with the peacock's eye pattern with a border — rows of white eyes on deep cobalt navy, separated by a decorative band of green sprigs and red dots. Cream edges and a light ring at the base bring out the design and lend the vessel a touch of warmth.
